What You’ll Do as a Local PUD Driver – HR

This role is pivotal in keeping our domestic logistics arm efficient and smooth. You’ll be responsible for transporting and delivering goods to local terminals and customers, ensuring all activities align with company and legal standards.

Your key duties will include:

• Safely transporting and loading freight while following correct load restraint methods
• Conducting daily pre-start vehicle safety checks and reporting maintenance needs
• Completing and maintaining accurate freight documentation such as con-notes, pallet slips, and run sheets
• Communicating with the warehouse, fleet controllers, and terminals to ensure timely and safe collections and deliveries
• Inspecting cargo for any issues, reporting damages, and suggesting solutions when needed
• Managing Dangerous Goods paperwork and signage with precision
• Upholding ergonomic practices and manual handling safety standards
• Contributing positively to workplace culture by supporting company values

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone with strong road awareness, exceptional attention to detail, and a positive attitude towards teamwork and safety.

You’ll need:

• A valid Australian HR Driver’s Licence
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience
• Knowledge of Load Restraint & Fatigue Management regulations
• Dangerous Goods Licence (preferred but not mandatory)
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
• Strong time management and freight handling capabilities
• Full Australian work rights
