Job Roles and Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, your duties will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care to patients.
- Supervising and guiding Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs).
- Assisting in patient recovery, rehabilitation, and critical care management.
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives within the hospital.
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and healthcare standards.

- John Fawkner Private Hospital – Coburg VIC
- Knox Private Hospital – Wantirna VIC
- La Trobe Private Hospital – Bundoora VIC

- Northpark Private Hospital – Bundoora VIC
Qualifications and Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Emergency or Critical Care.
- AHPRA registration with no restrictions.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or an equivalent qualification.
- Postgraduate certification in Emergency Nursing (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
