Job Responsibilities

Food Preparation and Cooking

Prepare signature dishes according to the menu and dietary requirements.
Maintain food quality, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
Experiment with presentation styles while preserving authentic flavors.

Menu Planning and Cost Control

Collaborate with management to design menus and estimate food costs.
Plan daily specials and ensure all dishes are of the highest quality.
Monitor stock levels and manage food circulation efficiently.

Kitchen Management

Inspect kitchen equipment and ensure cleanliness and functionality.
Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards.
Adhere to budget constraints while sourcing quality ingredients.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Hospitality Management.
Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Chef.
Prior experience in Indian cuisine is highly regarded.

Work Eligibility and Availability

Must have unrestricted Australian working rights.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
